Most resource-investing tools were built in the 2000s and never meaningfully updated. The data is stale, and the interface fights you.
Pixys is an independent research platform for investors moving into hard assets. We score every company on the Pixys 12 criteria. We turn the complexity into clarity, giving you a consistent framework to understand what matters, what doesn’t, and where the risks actually are.
Investors are rotating out of the hype and into precious metals, mining, and resources. But the tools for researching these stocks are stuck in the past.

Thousands of companies. 50+ page technical reports. Jargon like NI 43-101 and NPV. You understand investing — you shouldn’t need a geology degree.
Pay-to-play "research" and pump-and-dump newsletters dressed up as analysis. You can’t always tell who’s being paid to say what.
We built Pixys to be the platform we wished existed.
Empower busy investors to make confident resource-stock decisions — by making rigorous analysis simple, transparent, and independent.
Why we’re here
We’re on a mission to give investors the clarity, confidence, and tools they need to make informed decisions in the resource sector.
Become the independent home base for resource investing — one trusted place to find what matters, skip the noise, and decide for yourself.
We cover resource stocks and nothing else, on one consistent scale — not 100 metrics you’re left to weigh yourself.
Every rating shows the score on each of the 12 criteria, our sources, and our reasoning. No black box. Disagree? You can check our work.
No sponsors. No paid placements. We make money from subscriptions, so we answer to you — not the companies we rate.
We process public filings, financial reports, and the latest news, then score each company from 0 to 10 on the Pixys 12 criteria — management, asset quality, financial strength, jurisdiction, and the other factors that decide which companies survive a cycle. Weightings adapt to a company’s stage: an explorer isn’t judged like a producer. We also flag how complete the underlying data is, so you know when to dig deeper.
Every score, source, and assumption is on the page.
Primary sources — SEC, SEDAR, NI 43-101. When we can’t verify, we say so.
No sponsors, no pay-to-play. Ever.
A stable producer and a speculative explorer aren’t the same bet. We make the difference visible.
We built Pixys because we lived the problem: too many companies, too little time, and sources whose motives we couldn’t trust. So we made the platform we wished existed — time-tested resource-investing principles, operationalized into clear analysis anyone can use. We work behind the scenes and let the analysis speak. No gurus, no personal brands — just the work.
A room for resource investors taking shape now — independent, spam-free, no hype.
