Luca Mining – 2 Recent Acquisitions Transform The Company Across Its Production Profile & Valuation

Luca Mining – 2 Recent Acquisitions Transform The Company Across Its Production Profile & Valuation

The KE Report
4 days ago 27:40

Key Highlights

brief
  • The CEO cites Endeavour Silver as evidence Jalisco is an emerging mining jurisdiction, noting it recently completed construction and is now operating its Terronera project there.

Luca Mining's $290 million acquisition of the Cozamin copper-silver mine from Capstone Copper more than doubles near-term production and cash flow. Guest argues Cozamin's AISC (All-In Sustaining Cost — the full cost to produce a pound or ounce) is under $2, leaving several dollars of margin per pound of copper. A second deal buys Agnico Eagle's El Barqueño project in Jalisco for $10 million upfront, adding a low-risk gold-silver development asset. Blue-chip financiers including Wheaton, Macquarie, Taurus, National Bank and a 19.9% strategic investor back the transactions. Guest contends Luca trades near half fair value, with Cozamin cash flow from November 1 funding exploration, development and possible shareholder returns.

Beaver Creek 2026 - Best Stocks

Beaver Creek 2026 - Best Stocks

Don Durrett
10 days ago 38:24

Key Highlights

brief
  • Durrett says costs at Terronera are coming down, Pitirilla is about two years from production, and the company is highly undervalued as a silver producer.
  • He says people had a lot of good things to say about the company at Beaver Creek and that he likes it.

Gold at $4,100 anchors his buy-the-dip plan: add again below $4,000, and again below $3,700. His Beaver Creek list holds 37 stocks, all rated as tenbaggers (ten-times-plus targets), with seven winners out of ten as the goal. He grades risk-reward by letter and number; near-term producers screen best, while late-stage projects carry more risk. Discovery Silver and Osisko Gold Group lead his Canadian gold picks, and Silver X's 250 million ounce resource lifted the grade. Low insider ownership makes Andean Silver, Talisker and Avino the likeliest takeover targets on his list.

Doubling Silver Production Was Only the Beginning | Dan Dickson - Endeavour Silver

Doubling Silver Production Was Only the Beginning | Dan Dickson - Endeavour Silver

The Deep Dive
14 days ago 8:24

Key Highlights

detailed
  • Dan Dickson says output has grown from 7 million to 15 million silver-equivalent ounces over the last three to four years, with around 15 million expected for 2026 and nearly 18 million in 2027.
  • Q2 2026 production was up over 30% year over year, partly from M&A; near-term growth comes from higher Terranera grades running through 2027 and a full year of the expanded Colpa mine in Peru, which has run at 2,500 since March after going from 1,700 to 2,500.
  • Long-term growth rests on Pithoria in Mexico, which he sizes at roughly 600 million ounces of silver plus lead and zinc, could add another 7 million silver-equivalent ounces, has a feasibility study due shortly, and targets first production around 2030 after a two-and-a-half-year build.
  • He calls two recent setbacks small: a cracked ball-mill trunnion has Guanesevi at about 60% capacity for two and a half to three weeks (roughly 10,000 tons deferred, spare part about $75,000), and the August community blockade at Terranera was resolved for under $200,000 plus requests such as a new antenna, road cleanup, farmer water access, and 125 added easement hectares.
  • Exploration continues across the portfolio: positive Guanesevi drill results are due in Q4 2026, about 20 Terranera holes (10 already public) are extending the high-grade zone, and a Colpa resource is due around end-2026; if it comes out at up to 120 million ounces of silver, a $10 million contingent payment is due by May 2027, which he fully expects to make.

CEO Dan Dickson calls silver's pullback a healthy pause, expecting gold to move first before silver catches up and overshoots. Endeavour Silver has grown from about 7 million to 15 million silver-equivalent ounces (silver plus byproduct metals), targeting 17-18 million in 2027. Pitarrilla's feasibility study is due shortly; its 600-million-ounce silver resource could add 7 million ounces of annual production around 2030. Setbacks are modest: a cracked mill trunnion (a feed pipe) and a resolved community blockade defer only about 10 days of production. Underground drilling across every mine keeps replacing resources, with new results and estimates expected in the fourth quarter.

The Silver Price Was Not The Problem | Quanajuato Silver Q2 Earnings 2026

The Silver Price Was Not The Problem | Quanajuato Silver Q2 Earnings 2026

The Deep Dive
about 1 month ago 13:42

Key Highlights

brief
  • Realized $70.16/oz silver in Q2, third-highest among the Mexican silver peers cited.
  • Per the host, Endeavour's $36.89 AISC is net of gold and base metal credits, so the headline gap to Guanajuato's cost is narrower than it first appears.

Guanajuato Silver's Q2 was nominally profitable, but AISC (All-In Sustaining Cost, the full cost to produce an ounce) at $71.66 topped per-equivalent-ounce revenue of $70.62. Operating five Mexican mines, the company retired most of its Ocean Partners gold debt using $9.2M of cash this quarter. Bolañitos, the mine acquired in January, is the most expensive ounce in the portfolio at $90.11 AISC, while contract-mined Topia is cheapest at $45.19. At a 24% EBITDA margin (peer median 47%), the stock looks cheap on assets but expensive on earnings at 25x P/E versus 14x. Management expects costs to fall once Bolañitos integrates; the Q3 scorecard hinges on higher tons, AISC starting with a 5, and working capital direction.

Don Durrett: $8,000 Gold & $200 Silver Are Coming

Don Durrett: $8,000 Gold & $200 Silver Are Coming

VRIC Media

Key Highlights

detailed
  • The guest says Endeavour Silver spent 10 years building a new mine in Mexico, got it into production, and the local community shut it down within about a year — it is offline as of the interview (August 2026).
  • He expects the stoppage to be short: these 'shakedown' strikes usually last one to two months, and the community is demanding a bigger share of the mine's benefits, not its cancellation.
  • He uses the case to argue that mining stocks can be hit by anything at any time, which is why he expects about 3 of 10 picks to disappoint.

Treasury bond-buying and $1-trillion annual interest costs confirm the debt 'doom loop' is underway, Durrett argues, making bond-market fragility gold's driver. He maps three gold legs to roughly $6,500 next year and $8,000 within three years, planning to sell his miners between $7,000 and $8,000. Silver could reach $200-$300 this cycle; silver miners' margins (profit per ounce) could swell from $10 to over $200. He favors producers and developers over explorers: free cash flow (cash left after mining costs) makes their shares react to metal prices. His risk playbook: cull problem stocks, keep position sizes small, expect most picks to disappoint, and avoid developers with late construction dates.

Key Highlights

brief
  • In the speaker's producer tier ranking, Endeavour Silver is placed one tier below First Majestic.

The author's 10-step checklist turns mining stock analysis into a discipline: size the deposit first, end with a numeric rating. Prefer gold deposits above 1.5 million ounces with grades of at least 1 g/t (open pit) or 5 g/t (underground) and recovery above 80%. AISC (All-In Sustaining Cost — what it really costs to produce an ounce) should run about one-third of gold's spot price, with a 10% annual inflation assumption. Tight share structures (under ~150 million shares), conventional debt, and half-warrant financings protect per-share value; full warrants, heavy dilution, and reverse splits are red flags. Estimate a miner's future market cap using free cash flow times a 5-20x multiple, then divide by today's market cap for a clean growth-rate view.

Versamet Royalties–Record Q2 Earnings Metrics, Royalty & Streaming Partner Updates, Growth Into 2027

Versamet Royalties–Record Q2 Earnings Metrics, Royalty & Streaming Partner Updates, Growth Into 2027

The KE Report

Key Highlights

detailed
  • Endeavour Silver's Colpa operation lifted throughput from about 1,900 tons per day in Q1 to north of 2,500 tons per day this quarter, hitting its target.
  • Versamet's stream on Endeavour Silver is framed as cheap, optional exposure to a large and technically capable operator.
  • The host uses Colpa as an example of how throughput uplift, mine-life extension and higher-grade pockets all flow to the royalty holder at no extra cost.

Versamet posted record Q2 with revenue up 392% and EBITDA up 747% year-over-year, underscoring the cash-flow strength of its royalty model. The 3.52% Eskay Creek gold stream, due mid-2027, should lift attributable production to roughly 35,000 GEOs (gold equivalent ounces) versus 20–23K in 2026. Versamet's operator partners — Equinox, West African, Endeavour Silver — deliver asymmetric upside, since mine-life gains and grade improvements flow straight to its bottom line. Rosh Pinah's RP 2.0 expansion is ~95% complete and is on track to nearly double the mine's throughput to 1.4 million tons annually. Surprise catalysts — Cabral Gold's Cuiú Cuiú pour in September 2026 and Southern Copper's El Palar build starting 2027 — add ounces plus copper exposure.

Don Durrett

Key Highlights

brief
  • The speaker calls Endeavour Silver unbelievably cheap and singles out the Mormon Mountain asset as one that typically prints as a ten-bagger.
  • He offers the rule that if you can buy a Mormon at this valuation you should not pass it up.

He reviews 50 gold and silver mining stocks he owns, sizing the upside against $7,000 gold and $200 silver. Most of the list screens as an eight-bagger or better, and he favors undervalued producers growing output. Development names need patience: permits plus roughly two-year builds push many payoffs to 2028 and beyond. He cautions that gold and silver mining stocks are speculative, so keep allocations small and only risk what you can lose.

Pitch Rick Ep #1 - Versamet Royalties

Pitch Rick Ep #1 - Versamet Royalties

Rule Investment Media

Key Highlights

detailed
  • Versamet backed Endeavour's acquisition of the Kolpa mine in Peru with equity, debt and a copper stream on the asset, per the CEO.
  • Endeavour immediately moved to expand Kolpa from 1,800 to 2,500 tonnes per day, and the stream covers the entire land package Endeavour is now exploring.
  • The CEO sees roughly a 10-year mine life at Kolpa today and expects 20 to 30 years under Endeavour, though he says he cannot speak for them.
  • He says Kolpa lacked exploration attention as a private Peruvian mine, and Endeavour's arrival is unlocking expansion and exploration upside.

The CEO argues the value of Versamet's producing royalties alone exceeds its roughly $1.2 billion market cap, before counting development assets. Royalties (cuts of production, not mines) give Versamet 90% operating margins with eight staff; it trades near 10 times cash flow, well below larger peers. Gold-equivalent production has doubled annually from 5,000 ounces in 2024 and should reach a 35,000-ounce run rate once the Eskay Creek stream starts in 2027. The $360 million Eskay Creek stream was priced tightly, but Skeena's planned mine-plan upgrade could materially lift the stream's net present value. With about $370 million of debt repayable from under three years of cash flow, officers and directors own over 10% of shares.

Gold/Silver Miner Buy The Dip List (June 2026)

Gold/Silver Miner Buy The Dip List (June 2026)

Don Durrett

Key Highlights

detailed
  • Durrett expects Endeavour Silver to add production through Piterilla, which he puts two to three years out and says needs more visibility.
  • He notes Terronera is now mined out, so the case rests on what comes next.
  • He attributes Endeavour's historically high all-in sustaining costs partly to how the company has financed itself, and says that financial penalty has about a year left to run.
  • Once it rolls off, he argues, it is hard to find a producer of Endeavour's quality that also has Piterilla not yet built into the numbers.
  • He frames that combination as the source of the 25-bagger potential upside he sees in the name.

Gold and silver broke below their 200-day moving averages, and the host calls the 25% to 47% drop a buyable correction in a bull market. His trigger is the gold-to-S&P 500 ratio — gold's price divided by the index — near 0.6 today; 0.8–0.9 signals gold outperforming stocks. The watchlist spans producers, developers and explorers, with price assumptions of $7,000 gold and roughly $175 to $190 silver. Producers adding ounces rank above one-off development stories, since incremental production flows straight to free cash flow and lifts valuations quickly. He expects another, deeper dip before year-end tied to an S&P selloff, so he is assembling names to buy at lower prices.

Don Durrett & John Feneck Interview Mayfair Gold ($MFG | $MINE) on Building a Mine in Ontario

Investor TV

Key Highlights

brief
  • John Feneck notes Guanajuato Silver bought the Bolanitos operation from Endeavour Silver (EXK) for a song in Q4, a price he says would not be available at current silver prices.

Mayfair Gold is permitting a 4,800 tonne-per-day starter pit at Fenn-Gib provincially, cutting years off the federal route to first production. Projects under 5,000 tonnes per day permit provincially in Ontario, avoiding a federal review where no new (greenfield) mine has won approval since 2019. Management guides to a sub-$1,200 AISC (All-In Sustaining Cost — the full cost to produce an ounce) and first gold in 2030. Staying small preserves optionality: regional high-grade and underground tonnes can sweeten mill feed (raise average grade) without expanding throughput or new federal permits. Don Durrett favors undervalued, leveraged silver producers while John Fenwick argues war headlines, not fundamentals, gate gold's next move.

Americas Gold and Silver ($USA | $USAS): Silver and Antimony Opportunity in Idaho

Investor TV

Key Highlights

brief
  • Don Durrett names Endeavour Silver, with Avino and Americas Gold and Silver, as one of the few growing silver producers that excites him.
  • In his closing recap he again lists Endeavour with Avino among the growth names he expects to be the bull market's big winners.

CEO Paul Andre Huet says the turnaround is on track: silver output stepped up 50% and targets a 3.6 million ounce run rate by year end. Huet reports Galena's measured and indicated resource — the higher-confidence categories — rose 19%, with grades up 21%, past 200 million silver ounces. Huet describes a US Antimony joint venture that turns previously penalized antimony into revenue, with an Idaho plant backed by price protection. Don Durrett frames gold and the S&P 500 as a 'final battle' gold will win, urging investors to stay invested and buy dips. With about $130 million US in cash and no planned equity raise, management says drilling at Galena, Crescent, and Cosala will be funded from operations.

Newsletter Favorites Overview (Feb 2026)

Newsletter Favorites Overview (Feb 2026)

Don Durrett

Key Highlights

brief
  • Don calls Endeavour Silver really cheap for what it has, with a roughly $4 billion market cap by his figures, but holds it at B plus because of uncertainty around building its big new project (which he calls Piterilla) - capex and ramp-up risk.
  • He expects it will probably end up an A minus once that project's path is clearer.

Durrett argues there is limited time left to buy gold and silver producers while they are still cheap, expecting one more significant dip. His Newsletter Favorites list leans on quality Canadian and Australian mid-tier producers, which he expects to re-rate as the bull market warms up. Companies whose second and third projects get no market value offer free upside — you pay for the first asset and get the rest for nothing. Cheap forward free-cash-flow multiples persist in West Africa and among silver producers, where weak sentiment discounts heavy leverage to metal prices. Australian producers like Ramelius reaching major-sized valuations is, in his view, the first sign the junior gold bull market is broadening.

Sean Brodrick – Chaos Is A Ladder - As Gold, Silver, Copper, Uranium, & Rare Earths Climb Higher

The KE Report

Key Highlights

brief
  • Sean calls Endeavour Silver 'a rocket ride' for Resource Trader subscribers and says it was up another 6.4% that session.

Sean Brodrick raises his long-term gold target to $10,000, up from $6,900, citing a faster 1970s-style setup fueled by de-dollarization, tariffs, and central bank buying. He holds a $200 silver target and expects smaller gold and silver miners to leverage higher as upcoming Q4 earnings reveal record revenues. Brodrick is constructive on copper demand from global growth, highlighting Freeport (FCX) and Taseko Mines (TGB) as recent winners for his subscribers. He remains bullish on uranium and rare earths, citing Energy Fuels (UUUU) for its dual exposure and Western critical mineral supply chain support. He frames the current commodity move as a supercycle, advising investors to treat any pullback as a buying opportunity amid ongoing geopolitical chaos.

Guanajuato Silver – Acquisition Of The Bolanitos Gold-Silver Mine in Mexico Fuels Growth In 2026

Guanajuato Silver – Acquisition Of The Bolanitos Gold-Silver Mine in Mexico Fuels Growth In 2026

The KE Report

Key Highlights

detailed
  • The guest frames the closed $50M Bolanitos sale as a 'win-win,' noting Endeavour Silver will capture upside through the $10M share component of the consideration.
  • The deal continues a multi-year partnership that began when Endeavour sold the El Cubo mine to Guanajuato Silver in 2021.
  • Endeavour's Dan Dixon and James Anderson agree the combination had been 'contemplated by different companies owning these assets for some time' and that the timing was right for both companies.
  • Endeavour previously closed El Cubo in 2019 when silver was around $17 an ounce, and Guanajuato Silver subsequently put it back into production, allowing Endeavour to do well on the share component it received in that earlier deal.

Acquiring Bolanitos makes it GSVR's largest mine — likely producing 1.8 million silver-equivalent ounces this year from a 1,600 tpd flotation plant. Putting the Cata plant on care and maintenance concentrates throughput, targeting above 85% utilization at two hubs instead of three underused mills. Cebada extends the Veta Madre strike from ~4km to ~8km — opening fresh exploration runway along a proven principal structure. The 44,000-meter 2026 drill program across Pinguico, El Horco and Cebada is GSVR's largest exploration effort to date. With Bolanitos, roughly 95% of GSVR's revenue will come from gold and silver — cutting the base-metal byproduct reliance common in Mexican silver producers.
