Beaver Creek 2026 - Best Stocks

Beaver Creek 2026 - Best Stocks

Don Durrett
10 days ago 38:24

Key Highlights

brief
  • Durrett calls Talisker a slow-growth story - about 25,000 ounces this year and roughly 40,000 next, with 80,000 not until 2029 and 100,000 in 2030.
  • He lists Talisker as one of two names on the list he thinks could be taken out in a hostile takeover.

Gold at $4,100 anchors his buy-the-dip plan: add again below $4,000, and again below $3,700. His Beaver Creek list holds 37 stocks, all rated as tenbaggers (ten-times-plus targets), with seven winners out of ten as the goal. He grades risk-reward by letter and number; near-term producers screen best, while late-stage projects carry more risk. Discovery Silver and Osisko Gold Group lead his Canadian gold picks, and Silver X's 250 million ounce resource lifted the grade. Low insider ownership makes Andean Silver, Talisker and Avino the likeliest takeover targets on his list.

Talisker Resources – Operations, Development, & Exploration At Bralorne, Bralorne West, and Mustang

Talisker Resources – Operations, Development, & Exploration At Bralorne, Bralorne West, and Mustang

The KE Report
22 days ago 22:50

Key Highlights

detailed
  • CEO Harbert frames Talisker's August 24 first direct-ship ore to Taiwan via Ocean Partners as the milestone that closes the full logistics chain — the pipeline is now topped up, ~10,000-ton bulk shipments will run every couple of months (next one in October or November), with 90% paid on a Lillooet holding certificate and a 10% true-up after offloading in Taiwan.
  • Year-to-date underground development at Bralorne totals ~2,365m — about 1,000m of operating development on the veins plus ~1,200m of capital development stepping the lower Mustang ramp down through the 1060, 1045, 1030 and 1015 levels toward the 1000; the first crosscut blast into the BK vein showed 'a lot of visible gold' and good structure.
  • Bralorne West is now reached via a ~600m ramp tying back to the existing Mustang portal — a drill rig is already underground and Harbert targets a first vein crosscut by end of this year / early Q1 2027, framing the area as the 2027–2028 growth platform; meanwhile Mustang moves from lateral development into stope extraction at the 1120–1105 and 1105–1090 levels this year, transitioning in 2027 to the deeper 1060 down through the newly developed 1045, 1015 and 1000 levels.
  • Production sampling on the BK vein is defining big, high-grade ore shoots — Harbert cites the most recent as ~79m at roughly 64–65 g/t, with others in the 20 g/t range across 70–150m — and a PEA is 'imminent' in Q4 2026, built off a recent resource update he says effectively doubled the resource; he argues the PEA is less a feasibility gate (the mine is already producing with real costs) and more independent third-party validation to broaden investor access and support debt financing.
  • Ore-sorter testing at the University of Saskatchewan selected XRT (X-ray tomography) as the first production stage with 85–87% recoveries — Harbert notes the unrecovered gold is sub-economic — and a laser scavenger has been designed in for once Talisker builds its own mill; surface work is heavy (camp expansion, 100HP fans plus hard-line ducting pushing ventilation to Bralorne West, new transformer and redundancy diesel), and the long-term target is 200,000 oz/year across four connected operating centres — Mustang West, Mustang, Bralorne West and Olympus — on ~24,000 hectares and ~40km of strike.

First direct-ship ore delivery from Bralorne to Ocean Partners on August 24 closed Talisker's logistics chain, with bulk shipments now every couple of months. Underground development at Bralorne, Bralorne West, and Mustang totaled 2,365 meters this year, including a first crosscut into the BK vein showing visible gold. A Q4 PEA is imminent, supported by a doubled Mineral Resource Estimate and real costs from current production, giving investors independent third-party validated economics. XRT ore sorter testing rejected 57-67% of waste, upgraded gold grade 2.0x to 2.5x, and recovered 84-87% of contained gold. Long-term vision targets 200,000 ounces annually from a district-scale operation spanning Mustang, Mustang West, Bralorne West, and Olympus.

Gold/Silver Miners: Low Hanging Fruit (August 2026)

Gold/Silver Miners: Low Hanging Fruit (August 2026)

Don Durrett

Key Highlights

detailed
  • Talisker is toll-milling ore in Asia today while building a dedicated mill (~2 years out), generating cash flow in the meantime.
  • The Bralorn mine is the asset; the company targets 200K oz/yr but he only models 150K oz — production path: ~40K oz in 2027, ~100K oz in 2028, then further growth.
  • He flags insider ownership under 20% as a hostile-takeover vulnerability and suggests a merger of equals (mentioning 1911 or Honey Badger as possible partners) as a way to protect shareholders.
  • The stock shows ~14x upside at the bottom of his growth sort.

Don Durrett's 15 low-hanging-fruit names share a single thesis — execution on planned growth at $200 silver and $7,000 gold unlocks 5-20x upside across the list. Junior miners with low insider ownership become prime hostile takeover targets once their assets are de-risked, so a defensive merger often precedes the rerate. The market is still leaving the second-mine pipeline at NexGold and GoGold free, because the first project's standalone value already exceeds today's market cap. Canada's scarcity of new single-asset gold producers gives each one a permanent jurisdiction premium that U.S. peers cannot replicate. AISC (All-In Sustaining Cost — what it really costs to produce an ounce) is the single variable that decides whether each near-term producer on this list rerates or fades.

Key Highlights

detailed
  • Talisker is described as an undervalued producer currently at ~20,000 oz/year, scaling to 40,000 next year with a longer-term target of 200,000 oz (Don only models 100,000).
  • Don worries Talisker is cheap enough to be a takeover target and is waiting for a strategic shareholder to fend off 'sharks'.
  • Insider ownership is described as weaker than at Silverco or Denarius, raising risk the company could be acquired at unfavorable terms.

Don Durrett calls junior gold and silver miners a once-in-a-generation asymmetric trade — entry prices vanish once gold crosses $5,500–$6,000. He values juniors on a 36-month forward gold/silver price ($7,000 and $200 today) instead of spot, capturing leverage before the metal moves. Build a portfolio pyramid — ETFs and majors form the foundation, junior miners sit on top with capped position sizes near 1% of capital. When the original thesis survives a 40% drawdown, add to the position — averaging down improves blended cost basis and removes emotion. The macro case rests on Fed intervention history from Greenspan through today and ongoing de-dollarization — both push investors into gold.

Silver47 Exploration ($AGA | $AAGAF) on Red Mountain's Critical Mineral Potential & Path to 2027 PEA

Investor TV

Key Highlights

brief
  • Don groups Talisker with Blue Lagoon and Borealis as small producers of roughly 10,000 to 20,000 ounces per year
  • Don argues these small producers hold the resources to grow into mid-tier producers

A 22-cent EV per ounce on Silver47 Exploration's 246M silver-equivalent ounces screens 2-10x below peers like Blackrock Silver, framing a clear valuation gap. The CEO argues most ounces are inferred, but three high-grade US projects (Red Mountain, Hughes, Mogollon) underpin a 1B-oz aspiration and a 2027 PEA. With $45M Canadian in working capital and four rigs running, Silver47 plans roughly 20,000 meters of 2026 drilling across Alaska, Nevada, and New Mexico. Co-hosts Don Duret and John Fenwick frame a deep correction in US silver developers as a contrarian bottom-fishing setup before a potential second leg up. Near-term producers like 1911 Gold, Denarius, and LaHontan anchor a broader US silver thesis alongside Silver47, all riding a bipartisan critical-mineral policy tailwind.

Talisker Resources – Continuous 127m Strike Length Averaging 22 g/t Gold on 1045 Level At Mustang

Talisker Resources – Continuous 127m Strike Length Averaging 22 g/t Gold on 1045 Level At Mustang

The KE Report

Key Highlights

detailed
  • First results from the 1045 level, a level the company developed itself: face sampling every 2.4 metres on the parallel BK9870 vein, roughly 30 metres from the BK vein, returned nearly 130 metres averaging 21.5 g/t gold, following an earlier 60-metre strike at 27 g/t on the same level, with plenty of visible gold reported.
  • The mine cycle is short - a level's lateral development takes a month or two, then it is blasted and stoped - so 1045 material is being stoped and trucked now, with work on the 1030 level 15 metres below and the decline nearly at the 1015 level.
  • Ore sorting is moving from testing into build-out: most of the end-to-end circuit (crushes, conveyors, sorting units, screening plant, distribution arm) is already ordered and partly on site, financed by an $11 million delayed-draw term loan facility; the crushing circuit is planned to run from late Q3 or Q4 2026, with the sorter going from testing to full operation around end-2026 or early 2027.
  • The stated purpose of the sorting plant is to strip waste blended into narrow-vein material rather than add run-of-mine tonnage - raising grade and recovery per tonne trucked and giving partner Ocean Partners better feed.
  • The July 13 Ben Nevis acquisition takes the Bralorne project to about 24,000 hectares and just over 40 km of strike along the Cadwallader fault, with roughly 85,000 metres of drilling underway at Mustang and Bralorne West and Olympus drilling starting within weeks.

Talisker's CEO says 127 metres averaging 21.5 g/t (grams per tonne) gold at Mustang confirms grade and continuity are improving with depth. Ore sorting equipment, funded by an $11 million loan, should cut blended waste rock and raise the grade of ore trucked from H1 2027. The Ben Nevis purchase extends Bralorne to 24,000 hectares along 40 km of strike, supporting a hub-and-spoke plan with a central processing facility. Roughly 85,000 metres of drilling is directed at converting known resource into mineable reserves rather than chasing new discovery. Management expects a significant increase in both revenue and gold production when second-quarter results are released.

50 buy-the-dip stocks (July 17, 2026)

Don Durrett

Key Highlights

detailed
  • Talisker Resources is a producer growing organically, one of the recurring themes he favours on the list.
  • Its goal is roughly 200,000 oz a year from the Bralorne property alone, and he thinks that gives it a very good risk/reward.
  • He wonders about insider holdings and thinks the company could be taken out.

He reviews 50 gold and silver mining stocks he owns, sizing the upside against $7,000 gold and $200 silver. Most of the list screens as an eight-bagger or better, and he favors undervalued producers growing output. Development names need patience: permits plus roughly two-year builds push many payoffs to 2028 and beyond. He cautions that gold and silver mining stocks are speculative, so keep allocations small and only risk what you can lose.

The Power of 1.7-Billion Warrants: Collin Kettell at the Rule Symposium | Palisades Goldcorp

Palisades Gold Radio

Key Highlights

brief
  • Kettell lists Talisker Resources among Palisades' more significant warrant positions, held through tradable warrants that capture both in-the-money and option value.

Palisades Goldcorp holds 1.7 billion warrants (options to buy shares at fixed prices for a set time) across more than 330 junior resource companies. The warrant book's intrinsic value — what exercising today would realize — rose 25-fold to $125 million by January 2026, then held near $60 million. Kettell says Palisades committed over half a billion dollars across 450 financings, buying three-year warrants at an average 28-cent exercise price. Roughly 32% of warrants are in the money today; 51% expire in 2028, making timing the strategy's biggest risk if the bull stalls. The company returned $75 million to shareholders since listing, Kettell says, with 45% insider ownership and a $235 million portfolio value.

Key Highlights

brief
  • Talisker is named among the projects the BC Ministry of Mining introduced to Nicola, which he frames as prospective feed for the permitted Merritt Mill.

Nicola Mining plans to fund expansion, drilling, and acquisitions from Merritt Mill cashflow rather than raising new equity. The Merritt Mill is British Columbia's only provincially permitted gold and silver mill, able to accept feed from anywhere in BC. Small BC projects are stranded: few hold enough ounces to justify building a roughly $250 million mill on their own. Management shelved Treasure Mountain in 2013 rather than mine at $12.50 per ounce costs, betting silver would return above $30. Buying out seven owners in 2016 let New Craigmont restart copper drilling after a gap running from 1961 to 2015.

Gold/Silver Miner Buy The Dip List (June 2026)

Don Durrett

Key Highlights

detailed
  • Durrett picks Talisker as another producer growing output, with steady expansion that will take time.
  • He says the market is currently dismissing the name.
  • His general point is that growing producers are strong bets because added output drops straight to the bottom line and re-rates the valuation.
  • He says Talisker could reach 80,000 to 100,000 ounces over three years, is shooting for 100,000 ounces in 2028, and has a longer-term goal of 200,000 ounces.
  • He flags acquisition as one of the risks and says the Brelorn property holds a lot of gold, which helps make the name interesting.

Gold and silver broke below their 200-day moving averages, and the host calls the 25% to 47% drop a buyable correction in a bull market. His trigger is the gold-to-S&P 500 ratio — gold's price divided by the index — near 0.6 today; 0.8–0.9 signals gold outperforming stocks. The watchlist spans producers, developers and explorers, with price assumptions of $7,000 gold and roughly $175 to $190 silver. Producers adding ounces rank above one-off development stories, since incremental production flows straight to free cash flow and lifts valuations quickly. He expects another, deeper dip before year-end tied to an S&P selloff, so he is assembling names to buy at lower prices.

Talisker Resources Updates Market with Doubled Gold Resource at Bralorne Project

Talisker Resources Updates Market with Doubled Gold Resource at Bralorne Project

CEO.CA
4 months ago 10:32

Key Highlights

detailed
  • The CEO says the updated Bralorne resource estimate added 1.4 million ounces, above the guided 800,000 to 1,000,000, lifting the global resource to about 3.4 million ounces (effectively doubled), with measured grade near 10 g/t, indicated 8.8 g/t and inferred 8.7 g/t.
  • A drill program of over 100,000 meters is underway: about 85,000 meters for resource conversion to support the mine plan, roughly 10,000 meters of step-outs at the lower-grade bulk-tonnage Pioneer Deeps target, and drilling at the Congress area 15 kilometers north as a potential third mine.
  • Talisker is bypassing the 'Lassonde curve' by going straight into production, toll milling and direct-shipping ore sold to metal trader Ocean Partners to bring in revenue and cashflow while it works toward building its own mill.
  • As of the interview the first mine, Mustang, is in ramp-up and the second mine, Olympus, is in planning; an updated mine plan feeding a PEA is expected by September 2026, construction of an ore-sorting facility is set to start within about a month, and preliminary design and permitting work on the company's own mill is beginning.
  • The CEO frames Bralorne as a district-scale camp of roughly 45 kilometers of strike length with over 50 vein occurrences and historic producing mines, with a vision of building satellite resources and trucking them to a central processing facility.

Talisker's updated Bralorne mineral resource estimate (an inventory of in-ground gold) added 1.4 million ounces to reach 3.4 million, exceeding management's expectation. The larger resource feeds an updated mine plan and a preliminary economic assessment (early-stage project economics) due in September 2026. Direct ore sales (crushed ore sold unprocessed to trader Ocean Partners) generate early cash flow, avoiding the Lassonde curve's pre-production value dip. A 100,000 metre drill program mostly converts existing resources to support the mine plan, with new exploration at Congress and Pioneer Deeps. Management points to a five million ounce camp vision and a production-within-five-years track record as drills keep turning at Bralorne.

Talisker's 2026 MRE shows 3.15M oz inferred gold at 8.73 g/t, plus 206K oz M&I, confirming Bralorne's significant scale potential. Mustang Mine is actively ramping up to 500 tpd, with 2,675 oz gold sold year-to-date generating ~$12.7M in estimated net proceeds. Massive 105,000m drill program aims to convert resources at Bralorne West and Olympus, targeting 1,500 tpd throughput long-term.

Durrett ranks the 89 gold and silver stocks he owns on upside, downside risk, and company quality — a system investors can copy. His 'three-five' score marks a likely five-bagger — a stock he expects could multiply roughly five times from current levels. Only four holdings earn an A, reserved for low costs, clean balance sheets, and consistent execution — Australian mid-tier producers dominate the top. Country risk caps otherwise strong names: West African, Mexican, and Colombian exposure keeps ratings below top marks. He flags likely takeover targets among focused developers and producers still generating free cash flow.

Key Highlights

brief
  • The host includes Talisker Resources among his buy-the-dip names, saying the company is expanding production.
  • He adds that he cannot believe how beaten down Talisker has become and calls the sell-off kind of ridiculous.

Gold, silver and mining equities fell 25-50% during war-driven liquidation; both analysts call the sell-off a buying zone inside a bull market. Tungsten stands apart: prices rose from $1,977 to $2,600 in three weeks as munitions demand tightens a market with no ETF access. Upside Gold's CEO frames the Kena project as execution rather than discovery, growing a 3.31 million ounce historical gold-copper resource. An updated 43-101 is targeted for Q1 2027, adding 5,000 metres of legacy drilling plus copper and silver omitted from the 2021 estimate. Fenwick values the company near $15 per ounce in the ground and expects a re-rating while the gold bull market holds.

Key Highlights

brief
  • The host says Talisker has to grow production into 2027 and the stock should rip, alongside Denarius, by the end of 2027 going into 2028.

Raising default price assumptions to $7,000 gold and $200 silver reflects conviction that current metal prices undershoot the macro setup. Screening 90 favorite miners at those prices prints 20-plus-bagger upside for many, but most need three-to-four-year mine builds first. Near-term producers like Guanajuato Silver need no new growth, so they offer immediate leverage if silver reaches $200. A gold-silver ratio squeeze toward 2.5-3% underpins the $175-200 silver target alongside $7,000 gold within 24-36 months. Timeline to getting paid is the key filter: the longer a mine build, the longer investors must wait for the printed upside.

Key Highlights

brief
  • Don really likes Talisker as a growth story in Canada: production is small this year but increases next year and the year after.
  • He does not yet rate it B plus, and compares it to Stellar - a development story in Canada (formerly called Benchmark) with a lot of gold, in a rising-tide situation.

Durrett argues there is limited time left to buy gold and silver producers while they are still cheap, expecting one more significant dip. His Newsletter Favorites list leans on quality Canadian and Australian mid-tier producers, which he expects to re-rate as the bull market warms up. Companies whose second and third projects get no market value offer free upside — you pay for the first asset and get the rest for nothing. Cheap forward free-cash-flow multiples persist in West Africa and among silver producers, where weak sentiment discounts heavy leverage to metal prices. Australian producers like Ramelius reaching major-sized valuations is, in his view, the first sign the junior gold bull market is broadening.

Talisker Resources – Production & Exploration Update At The Mustang Mine, Upcoming Resource and PEA

The KE Report

Key Highlights

detailed
  • The CEO says Mustang operations are running well to plan — and in some cases a little ahead — with the lower decline complete to the 1045 level and lateral development into veins underway as of early February 2026.
  • The CEO outlines a ramp-up path of 500 tonnes per day by H2 2026, then 750 and 1,000 tpd, supported by three declines in active development.
  • The CEO says the Bralorne West development is more than halfway through its ~600-metre stretch and is expected to complete by end of Q1 or early Q2 2026, after which three previously unmined high-grade veins come online.
  • An SGS-prepared PEA and resource update are slated for Q2 2026 (end of May or early June) and are expected to add 800,000 to 1 million ounces while incorporating the Olympus mine plan.
  • The CEO notes 86 veins are defined across the Bralorne belt versus three currently in production (Alhambra, BK, BK9870), with eight or nine being developed by end of 2026.

Talisker targets 500 tonnes per day (tpd) at Mustang by H2 2026, with Bralorne West and Olympus stages pushing throughput toward 1,500 tpd. Mustang currently mines three gold veins; the company is developing eight to nine and has defined 86 across the Bralorne gold complex belt. An ore sorter arriving in Q3 2026 should lift realized gold grade from the diluted 8-10 g/t (grams per tonne) toward undiluted 16-20 g/t. SGS-led PEA (Preliminary Economic Assessment) and resource update adding 800,000-1,000,000 ounces of gold is expected by end of Q2 2026. First ore shipments to Ocean Partners UK were set to begin January 2026, with about 600 tonnes already stockpiled at the Lillooet facility.
