David Christie

David Christie is a seasoned mining executive and professional geologist currently serving as President and Chief Operating Officer of Globex Mining Enterprises Inc. (TSX: GMX | OTCQX: GLBXF | FWB: G1MN). With a career spanning over three decades in the mineral resource industry, Christie brings a rare combination of deep geological expertise, corporate development acumen, and capital markets experience to one of North America's most diversified mining royalty and property holding companies.

Christie spent 15 years as an exploration geologist, principally working for the Agnico Eagle Mines Ltd. group of companies—one of the world's premier gold producers. This formative experience gave him extensive hands-on knowledge of gold exploration and mine development across some of Canada's most prolific mining jurisdictions. His transition from technical roles to corporate leadership reflects a career trajectory built on understanding both the rocks and the business of mining.

Prior to joining Globex, Christie served as President and CEO of Orford Mining Corporation, where he led the company's strategic direction and growth initiatives. He has built an impressive board portfolio, having served as a director of eCobalt Solutions Inc., Osisko Mining Inc., Orford Mining Corp., True North Nickel, and Condor Precious Metals. He currently sits on the boards of Lodestar Metals Corp. and Orbec Gold Mines Inc. This breadth of governance experience across multiple companies and commodities gives Christie a comprehensive view of the junior mining landscape.

At Globex Mining, Christie oversees a unique business model: the company holds royalties and properties across approximately 270 assets spanning gold, silver, base metals, rare earth elements, antimony, and other strategic minerals. With a $40 million balance sheet and zero debt, Globex represents a distinctive approach to mineral sector investing—essentially operating as a diversified, asset-rich royalty company in the junior mining space. Christie's geological, financial, and transactional expertise has been instrumental in advancing this strategy.

Christie holds a B.Sc. in geology from McMaster University and is a Professional Geoscientist (P.Geo.) registered with NAPEG and PGO. His combination of technical credentials, executive leadership, and extensive board experience makes him a knowledgeable voice on topics ranging from exploration geology and mineral property valuation to royalty structures and junior mining capital allocation.
