Biography
Jessie Liu-Ernsting is a mining executive and professional engineer with approximately 20 years of experience in the natural resources industry. Currently serving as Chief Corporate Development Officer at FireFly Metals, she is responsible for establishing and delivering the company's strategy around developing its flagship Green Bay Copper-Gold project in Newfoundland, Canada. Prior to joining FireFly Metals, Liu-Ernsting served as Vice President, Investor Relations & Communications at G Mining Ventures Corp. (TSX: GMIN | OTCQX: GMINF), a company recognized on both the TSX Venture 50™ and OTCQX Best 50 lists. Liu-Ernsting has become a familiar presence at major mining investment events, including the Metals Investor Forum and PDAC, where she has presented on behalf of both FireFly Metals and G Mining Ventures. Her interviews with commentators such as Brian Leni of Junior Stock Review demonstrate her engagement with the retail mining investment community and her ability to articulate project fundamentals, corporate strategy, and catalysts for investors.
Her combination of technical engineering credentials and capital markets experience positions her as a bridge between the operational and financial sides of junior mining. For commodity investors, Liu-Ernsting's involvement in a company signals strong investor relations practices and a management team that prioritizes transparent communication with shareholders — a critical factor when evaluating junior mining opportunities.
