Ken Konkin

Kenneth J. Konkin, P.Geo., is a seasoned exploration geologist with over 35 years of experience in mineral exploration across North and South America, as well as Russia. He graduated from the University of British Columbia with a Bachelor of Science degree in geology in 1984 and is a Professional Geologist registered with the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of British Columbia.

Konkin built his reputation during a 19-year tenure at Silver Standard Resources, where he managed advanced exploration programs at several significant projects including Manantial Espejo in Argentina, San Luis and Berenguela in Peru, and the Snowfields project in British Columbia's Golden Triangle. His extensive experience in the Golden Triangle region has positioned him as a recognized expert in this prolific gold-silver district.

As President and CEO of Goldstorm Metals Corp. since 2021, Konkin has led the company's development of what he describes as a "generational gold discovery" following the spin-out from Tudor Gold Corp. The Goldstorm deposit emerged from successful 2020-21 exploration programs that yielded historic intersections of 15 oz/t gold and 14 oz/t silver. Under his leadership, the company has focused on advancing this flagship project in the Golden Triangle.
